About Me

Hi!

My name is Virginia, Gingie for short. I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother to 2 kids and 1 dog, a foodie, a nature lover, a retired pediatric anesthesiologist, and always a baker!

 

 

About Gingie's Cookies

You can usually find me in the kitchen early in the morning baking up the newest flavor of my drop cookies or starting the long process of a custom sugar cookie order. These rituals have created a much-needed outlet for me the past few years and I am so grateful for having found this new passion. Many thanks to you, my followers, for trusting me and supporting my small business as it continues to evolve.

Gingie’s started in 2021 with 20 flavors of drop cookies.  Late in 2022, custom decorated sugar cookies were added due to continued requests by customers.  Most recently, I have started hosting decorating classes for those eager to learn some of the techniques and tricks of the craft.

FAQs

  • Drop cookies are sold individually, in a box of 4 or a box of 12. They are individually wrapped.  Boxes can be of mixed flavors.

  • Custom decorated cookies require a minimum order of 12. They are individually wrapped.  Further packaging (boxes) is dependent on the number of cookies ordered.

  • Orders can be placed via the ‘Contact Us’ form below or email Gingie directly ([email protected])
  • Individual cookies are $3
  • A box of 4 cookies is $12
  • A box of 12 drop cookies is $30 and a box of 12 decorated cookies is $45
  • For shipping, the cost will be added to your invoice
  • All cookies contain dairy, eggs, and wheat
  • Some cookies contain nuts and other potential allergens
  • All cookies are baked in a kitchen that processes allergens
  • All cookies are individually sealed as soon as they are cooled after coming out of the oven.  This provides the longest shelf-life 
  • Cookies are best when eaten within 7-10 days of baking
  • Cookies can be frozen for up to 3 months  
  • Classes are for groups of 6-8 people. It is best if all participants are older than 10 years of age due to the difficulties in working with royal icing.
  • Pariticipants will be given 6 baked cookies. All icing and toppings will be provided as well.
  • Participants will be introduced to several royal icing techniques and then allowed to create their own designs.
  • Classes can be held at Gingie’s home or another place agreed upon.
  • Cost is $50-60/person depending on desired cookies/etc.
